A few months ago I started having lots of problems sleeping in. This is why I wanted to create music that would help me fall asleep. I wanted the music to be demanding enough for my brain not to worry about other stuff, but also easy enough to allow me to fall asleep. I strictly avoided climaxes with this release, as I found that when I incorporated highlights my brain would subconsciously await them. I listen to this Ep most nights and I find it very comforting.
'Kind Hums' was recorded in Winter of 2014 in Essen. I used a tape recorder and a reel to reel machine to record guitar tracks and choir samples.
